My art is a symbolic painting that I like to define as "Visionary Realism".
What I paint are metaphors of concepts, thoughts, sensations and discomforts made visible and tangible in compositions that include the human figure and symbolic objects.
I generally work in series of paintings defined by the presence of the same symbol. Some of the predominant symbols are Matryoshke, veils and lace, various animals, in particular jellyfish.
At the center of everything is the female human figure whose infinite facets I love to represent, and to which I strongly attribute a good dose of mysticism and sensuality.
